Job Requirements

  • at least 18 years of age
  • ability to lift up to 100 pounds
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in bakery or related position
  • capability to work flexible hours
  • knowledge of Collective Bargaining Agreement
  • no high school diploma required

Job Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in bakery or related management position
  • ability to lead and manage a team effectively
  • knowledge of inventory management and ordering processes
  • strong communication skills
  • understanding of marketing strategies
  • experience with training and evaluating staff
  • ability to maintain accurate records
  • physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds
  • at least 18 years of age

Job Duties

  • perform all functions of a Bakery Manager in their absence
  • ability to understand and adhere to the Collective Bargaining Agreement
  • provide products and services that meet or exceed customer requirements
  • follow all procedures to eliminate out-of-stocks, maintain presentation, increase sales, increase customer satisfaction, maintain an accident free work environment, and decrease shrink
  • develop and maintain communication processes with other departments to develop marketing plans
  • direct, oversee, and evaluate training provided by a trainer to department team members
  • prepare, maintain, and track records concerning inventories and work processes
  • manage inventories by tracking weekly reports and ordering raw materials and supplies
  • willingness to work the hours needed to complete tasks
  • work in a store with daily exposure to store activities and bakery equipment
