The role of Assistant Bakery Manager at Sprouts Farmers Market is a full-time position responsible for assisting the Bakery Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations within the Bakery Department. This position demands a passion for baking and preparing bakery items such as cookies, bread, and muffins, all crafted using proven ingredients and recipes. The Assistant Bakery Manager plays a key role in delivering exceptional customer service while managing a team of Bakery Clerks in a fast-paced and friendly environment. The position requires hands-on leadership to ensure high standards in merchandising, inventory control, product quality, and adherence to health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

Responsibilities for the Assistant Bakery Manager include managing and merchandising the bakery department for maximum productivity and profit, supervising the bakery team, executing merchandise rotation and display building, monitoring deliveries for product damage, unloading, and sorting store deliveries, and operating deli equipment. This role also emphasizes maintaining cleanliness, adhering to company policies, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, and fostering a positive work atmosphere. The pay range for this role is $18.30 to $25.60 per hour, with pay determined based on the applicant’s experience and qualifications.
