Job Requirements
- Valid U.S. work permit or legal authorization to work in the United States
- minimum one year experience in a professional kitchen or bakery
- ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- valid California Food Handler or Food Manager Card or ability to obtain one promptly
- dependable and efficient
- enthusiastic about pastry production
- able to work flexible schedules including weekends
Job Qualifications
- Experience in a professional kitchen or bakery setting
- experience with dough lamination
- familiar with baking techniques, procedures, ingredient handling, and kitchen tools
- comfortable using and maintaining industrial ovens and baking equipment
- holds a valid California Food Handler or Food Manager Card or able to obtain one promptly
- reliable, punctual, and a team player
- friendly, professional, and detail-oriented
Job Duties
- Support daily pastry production from prep through bake-off
- operate commercial convection ovens with precision and care
- maintain quality and consistency by following established recipes and protocols
- assist in the setup, organization, and breakdown of the kitchen
- ensure all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards are met
- communicate clearly with kitchen leadership and front-of-house team
- assist in kitchen logistics and operation to fulfill big orders
