The Assistant Andare Restaurant Manager position is an entry-level management role within the Food and Beverage team at the Hyatt Regency Seattle. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the daily operations and long-term planning of the Andare restaurant, an integral part of the hotel’s dining experience. The Assistant Manager will work closely with Food & Beverage leaders, including the Director and Assistant Director of Operations, as well as collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting and managing the restaurant’s operations by overseeing hiring, training, and development initiatives to build a strong and motivated team. Job Requirements
- Minimum education level relevant to food and beverage management
- Prior experience in a leadership role within food and beverage preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible work availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Refined verbal and written communication skills
- Team player with dynamic leadership qualities

Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years as a food and beverage leader preferred
- Wine and beverage knowledge in an upscale environment preferred

Job Duties
- Support and manage Andare food and beverage operations closely with F&B leaders including Director and Assistant Director of Operations and other hotel departments
- Responsible for short and long term planning of Andare restaurant
- Ensure effective hiring, training, development, and promotion of team members
- Lead and coach team to achieve exceptional guest service and colleague satisfaction results
- Maintain a high energy, positive, and professional appearance
- Plan, coordinate, and manage special events and holiday functions
- Take initiative to run the outlet as a free standing entity
