Job Requirements
- one-year certificate from college or technical school or three to six months related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- ability to perform mathematical calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
- capability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and interpret graphical data
- adherence to food safety standards including HACCP guidelines preferred

- ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
- ability to compute rate, ratio, percent, and interpret bar graphs and chart recorders
- knowledge of HACCP principles preferred
- strong attention to detail and adherence to food safety protocols
- good communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- operate large volume kettles and mixers as primary processor of finished food grade products
- adhere strictly to blending recipes and HACCP steps ensuring quality and food safety
- verify ingredients and perform product quality checks including solids, instrument calibration, magnet inspections, and chart recorder accuracy
- learn, operate, and adjust multiple in-line processing equipment
- perform preventative maintenance and maintenance follow-up on equipment
- conduct viscosity and sensory testing on batches
- collaborate with QC and QA teams on new and existing processes
- communicate effectively within the department to optimize workflow and productivity
