Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0-1 year of related assembly or manufacturing experience
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to follow detailed instructions
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and maintain certifications
- Must be a U.S. person as defined by ITAR
- Ability to work 6:30 am to 3:00 pm schedule
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0-1 year of related assembly or manufacturing experience
- Basic computer skills including word processing and spreadsheet applications
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work in a quality-driven environment
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Willingness to learn and maintain required certifications
Job Duties
- Perform general assembly operations including printed wire board assembly, conformal coating, potting, ultrasonic cleaning, coil winding, crimping, wire stripping, soldering, evac and backfill, component forming, and painting
- Assist with in-process testing using LCR meters and multi-meters
- Serialize sensors and label electronic components to support sales order traceability requirements
- Work from assembly drawings, routing sheets, verbal instructions, written process descriptions, and visual work instructions to ensure quality and product functionality
- Maintain required ESD and soldering certifications (IPC J-STD-001)
- Document and record test results, completed work, and any rework activities accurately
- Assist in identifying causes of component, subassembly, or system failures and support rework activities under the direction of Engineering and/or the Group Leader
- Provide feedback and recommendations to Engineering regarding assembly process improvements
- Support company quality initiatives including AS9100 and Statistical Process Control (SPC)
- Assist in training and guiding employees in various assembly operations as needed
- Remain flexible and willing to work in different work cells based on business needs
- Report unusual conditions, defects, or issues to the supervisor promptly
