Job Description

Conax Technologies is a well-established manufacturing company with a rich history of delivering engineering solutions since 1952. Known for their expertise in compression seal fittings, temperature sensors, and customized solutions, Conax Technologies serves critical industries such as Aerospace, Oil and Gas, Power Generation, Semiconductor, and various other technology and industrial markets. Their commitment to innovation, quality, and customer service positions them as a leader in manufacturing high-precision components that meet complex and demanding requirements.

As a locally owned and stable company, Conax Technologies offers employees a clean, climate-controlled, and well-maintained work environment conveniently located on Walden Avenue near Union Road, accessible by public transit and close to the Thruway. The company culture deeply values core principles like integrity, commitment, innovative thinking, customer-centric approaches, and teamwork. They foster a supportive atmosphere where employees are encouraged to grow, learn, and find meaningful advancement opportunities.

The company is currently seeking mechanically inclined Assemblers to join their dedicated manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for those who are hands-on, eager to learn, reliable, and interested in developing a long-term career in manufacturing. Conax Technologies emphasizes training new hires thoroughly, so even those new to manufacturing are welcome to apply. Assemblers play a vital role in helping to build high-quality temperature sensors, compression seal fittings, and cable and harness assemblies used across a wide array of industries and applications.

The role is full-time with a regular Monday through Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and offers overtime opportunities. Pay starts at $19.55 per hour with planned regular increases. Additionally, the company provides a comprehensive benefits package that begins on the first of the month following your start date. Benefits include two medical plans (one with no paycheck deduction for single coverage), full premium payment for dental coverage (single and family), short- and long-term disability insurance, life and AD&D insurance, and a 401k with a 4% match. Employees also enjoy paid time off including a paid holiday break at the end of the year and summer hours for a better work-life balance.

Assembly teammates at Conax Technologies must demonstrate a safety-first mentality, consistently following established processes, quality standards, and delivery requirements. Work is performed in a collaborative and friendly environment that encourages continuous improvement and mutual support among coworkers. The role requires flexibility in performing various job skills, an ability to work on multiple products, and manual dexterity to handle small parts. Assemblers may be required to lift up to 40 pounds, and should approach their work with a no-excuses attitude and a passion for customer satisfaction through dedication and commitment.

Conax Technologies proudly welcomes applicants from diverse backgrounds including students, military veterans, retirees, and anyone interested in manufacturing with a strong work ethic, good attendance, and enthusiasm for career growth. The company is an Equal Opportunity Employer that deeply values its people at all organizational levels, offering a stable and rewarding employment experience with growth potential, comprehensive training, and competitive compensation.
