Known for its commitment to innovation, operational excellence, and environmental stewardship, Air Products has continually pushed the boundaries of what's possible. The company thrives on the motivation and collective experience of its people, driving forward ideas and innovations that have transformative impacts across various industries. From supporting lifesaving care in hospitals, enabling groundbreaking, world-scale production facilities, to launching missions into space, Air Products is dedicated to making a difference in the world.

Rotoflow, an esteemed business unit of Air Products with over 75 years of specialized expertise, focuses on designing, manufacturing, servicing, and upgrading standard and custom-engineered cryogenic and warm gas centrifugal turbomachinery. Serving global markets that include industrial gases, petrochemicals, and hydrocarbons, Rotoflow is a full-service Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) that delivers excellence through its regional service centers supported by dedicated execution teams. Their reputation is built on delivering high-quality products that meet industry standards, including ISO 9001 certified Quality Management Systems.

The role available is for a First-Shift Assembly Technician based at the Rotoflow headquarters in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. This position operates Monday through Friday from 6:25 a.m. to 2:25 p.m., offering a stable work schedule within a dynamic and highly technical manufacturing environment. The Assembly Technician will play an integral role in the assembly and rebuilding of turbomachinery equipment, requiring adherence to strict safety policies, manufacturing codes, and quality procedures.

This opportunity invites candidates who possess a background in precision mechanical assembly and are comfortable using a variety of hand, power, and precision measuring tools such as torque wrenches, micrometers, and calipers. The role demands proficiency in operating manufacturing machinery like turning and milling machines, with the ability to read and interpret complex mechanical drawings and assembly documentation. An Assembly Technician at Rotoflow will also be responsible for critical shipping and receiving operations, maintaining inventory accuracy through ERP systems (preferably SAP), and ensuring the safe handling and packaging of heavy machinery in compliance with company standards.

Candidates will find themselves contributing to a workplace culture that prioritizes safety first and foremost, fosters collaboration across multiple departments including engineering, sales, and aftermarket services, and offers continuous professional development. With opportunities for increasing responsibility, exposure to advanced equipment, and career progression within a growing and stable company, the position offers more than just a job—it offers a pathway for technical growth and long-term career success.

Moreover, Air Products is an equal opportunity employer that welcomes veterans and values the unique skills they bring. The company is committed to providing reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities and prioritizes creating an inclusive and diverse work environment.
