The role of Assembly Team Lead at FHP Manufacturing is a vital position within its manufacturing operations, focusing on the first shift assembly line. This role demands a hands-on, detail-oriented individual capable of overseeing daily assembly activities while ensuring production quality and efficiency. As the Assembly Team Lead, you will report directly to the Area Supervisor and take on leadership responsibilities that include managing and mentoring a team of associates. Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining the seamless flow of production by prioritizing tasks, implementing lean manufacturing principles, and upholding business process standards that promote continuous improvement.

The Assembly Team Lead must have in-depth knowledge of all departmental processes to effectively train new employees and support cross-training initiatives, making sure that the team is versatile and capable. Your keen eye for quality will be put to use as you inspect finished products, identify any defects, and manage non-conforming materials to maintain the high standards of FHP Manufacturing. Additionally, reworking units to meet strict quality criteria and supporting a safe, organized work environment through best practices in material handling are part of the role’s core responsibilities.

This position offers not just a leadership opportunity but also a chance to be part of a company dedicated to sustainable products that impact energy efficiency positively. The Assembly Team Lead role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills in English, flexibility to work overtime and in other departments as needed, and the ability to coordinate a team effectively. Candidates with manufacturing and assembly experience, especially with familiarity in CNC machine operations, will find their skills highly valued. FHP Manufacturing is committed to every employee’s confidentiality and promotes equal opportunities across its workforce, including persons with disabilities and veterans, making it a supportive environment for career growth.
