Job Qualifications

  • ability to work with a microscope and small hand tools
  • good manual dexterity and hand-eye-tool coordination
  • basic computer skills for daily data entry
  • willingness to be cross-trained on equipment

  • good oral and written communication skills
  • basic math knowledge
  • ability to interpret instructions provided orally, written, diagram or schedule form

Job Duties

  • operate various automatic and semi-automatic machinery
  • perform quality inspections on all parts produced, bagged or packaged in carriers
  • learn and acquire job skills through continual cross-training of departmental equipment
  • follow company policies, rules, regulations and safety procedures
  • maintain updated paperwork per specifications, including operation sheets and calibration tags
  • keep all areas clean, organized and practice proper storage of tools
  • perform other duties as assigned by lead or supervisor
