This position is ideal for a self-motivated team player who aligns with Alfa Laval's core drivers: Action, Interaction, and Satisfaction. The candidate will be responsible for running production processes adhering to safety and quality standards, maintaining consistent use of personal protective equipment, and improving operational procedures according to business demands. The shift schedule is Monday through Friday, from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with overtime including weekends as necessary.\n\nThe Production Operator will receive daily work assignments from the Team Leader or Team Manager and execute production following Standard Operating Procedures and blueprints. Responsibilities include immediate reporting of any deviations related to safety, quality, parts, or equipment, active engagement in status board meetings to discuss and resolve issues, and participation in continuous improvement activities such as KAIZEN and 5S routines. The role also involves cross-training initiatives to broaden skills across different manufacturing processes and utilizing downtime efficiently for learning and process enhancements. Reporting directly to the Team Manager, the operator has the authority to stop production if any safety, quality, or environmental deviations arise. The position demands keen attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and commitment to maintaining high standards of workplace safety and productivity.\n\nKey performance indicators for this role include safe working practices with minimal injuries, reducing scrap and rework percentages, adhering to consistent routines and checklists, delivering products on time, achieving productivity targets, maintaining high 5S scores, and ensuring strong attendance performance.
