Job Requirements
- legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
- reside within 50-mile radius of Eaton El Paso, TX facility unless active-duty military
- lift up to 35 pounds with reasonable accommodation
- know and follow health and safety rules
- bring safety issues to management's attention or correct them
- participate in accident and illness prevention activities
- maintain health and safety equipment
- perform job safety analysis and develop safe working procedures
Job Qualifications
- one year of assembler experience
- forklift driver certification preferred
- experience with supply chain systems such as AS400 or MAPICS preferred
- experience in electrical equipment manufacturing and assembly preferred
- experience in electrical equipment maintenance and installation preferred
- ability to use manual, electric, and pneumatic tools
- capability to work in a small team environment
- knowledge of job-specific and facility-wide health and safety procedures
Job Duties
- perform assigned functions from oral and/or written instructions, drawings, or other manufacturing information
- handle materials in accordance with established procedures
- perform routine maintenance on plant equipment in area of assignment
- maintain quality standards by inspecting and testing finished products
- maintain expected progress of jobs and communicate problems or parts shortages
- handle finished products for shipment including calling carriers and loading materials
- observe good housekeeping and safety procedures including 5-S duties
