As an assembler, you will engage in hands-on work building products or components by following detailed instructions including diagrams and blueprints. The role requires a strong emphasis on quality control, ensuring that every part meets the company’s high standards. Documentation and process reporting are essential parts of the job, contributing to clear communication and operational excellence. Working with a collaborative team, you will help maintain a clean and organized workspace, participate actively in daily status meetings, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts known as KAIZEN.
Your responsibilities will include performing quality inspections of assembled products, accurately completing production reports, and adhering strictly to standard operating procedures. This position requires attention to detail and an ability to identify and escalate any deviations affecting safety, quality, or equipment performance. Engaging in daily and weekly 5S routines will help maintain an efficient workplace environment. Furthermore, cross-training opportunities within various manufacturing processes will support your growth and add value to the team. You will also participate in lifting and handling raw materials and finished goods safely, utilizing manual or assisted methods.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment preferred
- ability to follow detailed instructions and blueprints
- strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- good communication and teamwork skills
- ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual lifting
- willingness to engage in continuous learning and cross-training activities
- residency in the United States or established presence in the area
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience with assembly work or manufacturing processes preferred
- ability to read and interpret blueprints diagrams and work instructions
- strong attention to detail and quality focus
- good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
- basic computer skills for documentation and reporting
- physical ability to lift and handle materials as required
- proactive approach to identify and suggest process improvements
Job Duties
- Inspect work for defects ensuring accuracy and adherence to quality standards
- complete production forms reports and record assembly data
- receive daily work assignments from the team leader or team manager and execute production with standard operating procedures and blueprints as a base
- report any deviations including safety quality parts and equipment to status boards immediately and update the team leader or team manager
- be active and engaged in the daily status board meetings by explaining the deviations and propose solutions
- review and suggest any improvements for the standard operating procedures
- look into your own areas for waste elimination opportunities and drive KAIZEN improvements
- engage in daily and weekly 5S routines to achieve high 5S standard and sustain it
- constantly look for cross-training opportunities within different manufacturing processes and better ways to add value
- work with other assemblers communicate effectively and rotate tasks if part of a team
- use downtime efficiently to learn new processes and run improvements from status board activities
- lift raw materials finished products and packed items manually or using lifts
