Vishay Spectrol, a part of Vishay Intertechnology, is currently seeking a skilled Assembler to join their team in Ontario, California. The role focuses on assembly work involving technical knowledge and skills related to bench top equipment and microscope assembly processes, specifically geared towards manufacturing potentiometers on the assembly line. This position is suited for individuals with a keen eye for detail and the dexterity required to perform multiple task micro-assembly operations daily. In addition to assembly, the Assembler will also be responsible for testing the units to ensure they conform to stringent product specifications.

The Assembler position at Vishay offers a temporary contract with a competitive pay rate ranging from $18 to $20 per hour depending on experience. Assemblers at Vishay will engage in a variety of tasks including the assembly and testing of wirewound potentiometers based on detailed engineering drawings and specifications. The job may require flexibility to move between different processes and assist team leads with issuing materials, training, kit breakdown, and other duties as assigned. The role requires the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, follow manufacturing processes meticulously, and operate inspection gauges and electronic test equipment. Strong manual coordination, aptitude for micro-assembly tasks, and good communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Job Duties

  • may be asked to perform other tasks as assigned by lead and manager
