Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures and cGMP
- ability to adhere to quality standards
- good hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude
- ability to use hand tools and manufacturing equipment
- capacity to complete detailed documentation accurately
- willingness to participate in continuous improvement processes
- ability to work under moderate supervision
- physical capability to perform job tasks including lifting up to 25 pounds
- ability to work in controlled environments with ESD controls
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- electronic assembly experience preferred
- good hand-eye skills and mechanical aptitude
- ability to work with close supervision during training and moderate supervision when competent
- basic computer skills
- working knowledge of GMP and ISO standards preferred
- ability to interpret production documents and drawings
- physical ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, and crouch
- ability to sit or stand for long periods
- ability to handle and lift up to 25 pounds
Job Duties
- Read, understand and interpret Visual Manufacturing Instructions, follow production drawings and sample assemblies, receive verbal instructions
- pack finished products, kits, subassemblies, perform quality inspections, maintain material control of critical parts and time-sensitive materials
- utilize calibrated and non-calibrated hand tools and equipment to perform assembly builds, use manufacturing aids, fixtures, cranes, label activities and organize workstation
- complete documentation for Device History Records per Good Documentation Practices and SOPs
- participate in continuous improvement initiatives with production teams to improve quality, reduce cost and increase throughput
- communicate process problems with peers, leads, supervisors, and engineers
- participate in on-the-job training for manufacturing processes, corporate policies, safety procedures, GMP, and ISO standards
- adhere to all environmental, health, and safety SOPs, equipment, policies, and procedures, including department-specific requirements
- work within controlled environments where ESD controls exist
