This role, Assembler Cascade 1st shift, is based in Marysville, Washington, within the manufacturing domain, specifically focusing on assembling and repairing aircraft parts for the Cascade Program. The position is full-time and permanent, offering an hourly wage ranging from $17.19 to $27.01. The job entails working in a clean room environment with raw carbon materials, ensuring precision and adherence to strict production standards.

The assembler will be responsible for assembling cascades aircraft parts following detailed instructions and specifications. This role requires an ability to understand and communicate in English to perform tasks successfully and to maintain proper documentation throughout the assembly process. The work includes minor travel, potential relocation to other Safran facilities, and possibly working protracted or irregular hours.

Attention to detail is paramount, as the assembler must document the number of plies of backing removed, record compaction data such as pressure and duration, log mandrel cure cycles, and track all raw materials and components used. The role involves executing the final layup build of the cascade components, organizing mandrels sequentially, ensuring proper compaction, maintaining correct heights of strong backs, and conducting inspections to meet strict quality standards.

Safety and confidentiality are key responsibilities. The assembler must handle regulated materials safely, protect product integrity, and maintain strict confidentiality of company and customer data. Employees must be flexible and ready to undertake additional tasks as business needs evolve.

This position requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent and welcomes candidates with first experience in manufacturing assembly. The role is ITAR controlled, requiring US citizenship or permanent residency. Fluency in English is essential for communication and documentation.
