The role of Assembler A at Boyd involves performing assembly work primarily according to detailed work instructions and under the guidance of more senior assemblers or leads. An Assembler A is responsible for ensuring that all assembly work meets or exceeds quality specifications and job order requirements. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, the ability to work with calibrated equipment, and strict adherence to safety protocols to keep themselves and others safe at all times. Key responsibilities include pretesting and final testing of membrane switches, attaching connectors, screws, nuts, and LED forming, and performing doming and layering processes. Additionally, the role involves machine burnishing of assembled parts and proper completion of all required documentation such as tickets and floor control records. As part of the company’s commitment to its employees, this position offers an hourly pay range of $21.30 to $23.00 and is classified as non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
