The role being offered is for Assemblers within the Saber Frame Up department. These team members apply their knowledge and skills across various assembly stations, ensuring products meet stringent quality and performance standards. Assemblers will engage in the manufacture of assemblies and sub-assemblies for heavy-duty vehicles, working meticulously following the Truck Builder system and adhering to strict safety and quality protocols. The role offers competitive pay, starting at a minimum of $21.32 per hour, with pay based on experience and education. The company also offers paid weekly wages and a comprehensive benefits package, effective 30 days after hire. This position operates on a Monday through Friday schedule with a four-day workweek of nine-hour shifts from 6:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., plus a shorter Friday shift ending at 10:30 a.m. This shift pattern supports a balanced lifestyle while providing the intensity needed for high-quality production work. As an assembler, individuals will be involved in handling tools such as torque and DC tools, brake bleeders, AC chargers, cab testers, overhead cranes, and quality testing equipment, building parts including wires, hoses, and hydraulics, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment according to 6S standards.

Job Requirements
- 6 months or more of relevant experience or a high school diploma/equivalent
- Previous experience with basic hand tools
- Ability to perform assigned tasks consistently and accurately
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to recognize and respond to abnormal operating conditions
- Use/wear personal protective equipment as required
- Hear safety alarms and co-workers
- Perform basic counting and reading of tape measures, safety manuals, work orders, and blueprints
- Follow supervisor and co-worker instructions
- Maintain awareness of safety issues, hazards, and identify unsafe conditions
- Maintain balance while walking/standing, including on slippery floors
- Safely climb on portable steps, ladders, and trucks
- Lift and manipulate parts/equipment weighing up to 35 lbs
- Stand for extended periods, bend, twist, and reach as needed
- Use both hands for tools and assembly tasks
- Assist co-workers with heavy lifting when needed
- Safely operate and use heavy equipment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience with basic hand tools
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing operations environment
- Previous experience with Pierce Assembly or in Pierce Frame Up department
- Ability to perform assigned tasks consistently and accurately
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to recognize and respond to abnormal operating conditions
- Ability to use/wear personal protective equipment as required
- Ability to hear safety alarms and co-workers

Job Duties
- Interact with and follow processes through the Truck Builder system to confirm results and ensure compliance with standard work instructions
- Follow written instructions with discipline to reduce potential assembly issues and performance/quality defects
- Perform work cycles lasting up to 4 hours, staying in sequence and confirming completion of each process step before advancing the unit
- Utilize special equipment such as torque tools, DC tools, brake bleeders, AC chargers, cab testers, jib/overhead cranes, quality testing equipment
- Assemble parts, wires, hoses, and hydraulics while using safe and proper tools/techniques
- Install accessories including decals, mud flaps, cameras, lights
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, complying with safety rules, procedures, and 6S standards
- Assist in identifying and correcting back defects and drive preventative action implementation
