Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Ability to move objects weighing up to 10 pounds
U.S. citizenship
Ability to solder at a Class 2 level
Ability to perform tasks under a microscope with outstanding manual dexterity and precision
Ability to learn and perform tasks independently
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to follow written directions and drawings
Positive customer service interaction skills
Ability to perform manufacturing and assembly tasks in a metric-based environment
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Willingness to work second shift and overtime to meet business needs

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED

Previous or current certifications in IPC-610 and/or J-STD 001 preferred
Assembly or electronics experience preferred
Ability to solder at a Class 2 level preferred
Ability to perform tasks under a microscope with precision and manual dexterity preferred
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision preferred
Demonstrated success in team environments and strong interpersonal skills preferred
Ability to follow written directions and drawings preferred
Positive customer service skills preferred
Experience in metric-based work environments preferred
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred

Job Duties

Assemble electronic components using assembly drawings, diagrams, and job aids to meet customer requirements
Perform processes such as fine-pitch soldering, BGA rework and repair, manual and automated microelectronics assembly, electromechanical assembly, wire and cable harness fabrication, and transformer winding and encapsulation depending on workload
Perform all assembly work in accordance with industry and company standards
Conduct continuity checks on in-process and completed work
Operate basic production equipment like soldering stations, crimp tools, microscopes, and ovens safely
Inspect work for workmanship and compliance to build documentation and perform rework and repair as needed
Record production data accurately in relevant systems and quality records
Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and supervisors to clarify instructions and suggest process improvements
Follow all safety, ESD, FOD, and cleanliness guidelines to maintain a safe work environment
Successfully complete in-house workmanship criteria training classes for continued employment
