Job Description

Winchester Interconnect is a leading manufacturer specializing in advanced interconnection solutions across aerospace, defense, medical, and space industries. With a steadfast commitment to integrity and doing the right thing the right way, the company fosters a dynamic and inclusive work environment that champions innovation and continuous growth. Winchester Interconnect prides itself on hiring exceptional individuals, celebrating collective and individual achievements, and empowering employees to reach their full potential. Through a culture rooted in its core values of accountability, collaboration, and empowerment (ACE), Winchester drives its team’s success by encouraging ownership, teamwork, and bold innovation.

As a Cable Harness Assembler at Winchester Interconnect, you will play a crucial role in manufacturing mission-critical products that power some of the world’s most advanced aerospace, defense, and space systems. This hands-on position is vital in producing complex, high-reliability cable assemblies and wire harnesses. You will work meticulously from detailed technical drawings and instructions to carry out precision tasks including soldering, crimping, wire termination, and harness routing in a fast-paced, high-mix/low-volume manufacturing environment. Quality is the highest priority, and you will ensure all products conform to rigorous workmanship standards such as IPC/WHMA-A-620 and IPC-A-610.

The role demands effective teamwork as you collaborate closely with quality control inspectors to present products for in-process and final inspections, perform rework on non-conforming items, and uphold all company safety and quality protocols. You will be responsible for operating various manufacturing equipment and hand tools like crimpers, strippers, and soldering irons. Additionally, you may conduct electro-mechanical and mechanical testing of cable assemblies, maintaining accurate records of all test reports. A clean, organized work environment following 5S principles is maintained to support efficiency and safety.

Winchester Interconnect offers a supportive work environment where communication, training, and continuous improvement are encouraged. The company adheres to regulations including ITAR, necessitating that candidates be U.S. persons (citizens or permanent residents). This position offers competitive hourly wages ranging between $20.00 and $23.00 depending on experience, with an additional $2.00 per hour shift differential for second-shift work. The company provides attractive bonuses including referral and sign-on bonuses, alongside comprehensive benefits.

Employees use modern tools and systems such as Google Workspace and ADP with Syspro for operational efficiency. Winchester ensures compliance with equal opportunity laws and maintains a workplace free from discrimination and harassment. If you seek a meaningful career where your skills contribute directly to cutting-edge technology in critical industries, and where you will be empowered and valued, this role at Winchester Interconnect is an excellent opportunity to grow and succeed.
