The role of Assembler 2 is integral to Safran Cabin Manufacturing and Production operations. This mid-level, full-time, permanent position is designed for experienced personnel who have solid knowledge of assembly processes and aerospace manufacturing standards.

The Assembler 2 contributes to the assembly, repair, and sub-assembly creation for aircraft interiors, strictly adhering to engineering drawings, company standards, and customer specifications. Pay ranges from $16.90 to $24.74 per hour depending on experience and education levels. The role requires hands-on skills with materials such as aluminum trim extrusions and fiberglass laminates, along with the use of basic machinery, pneumatic and hand tools. Safety, quality, and confidentiality are paramount, with employees expected to maintain high standards through careful handling and documentation. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • 4-5 years of assembly or manufacturing experience
  • ability to read and write English
  • good hand eye coordination
  • knowledge and experience operating basic machinery pneumatic and hand tools
  • sensitivity to safety regulations
  • ability to self inspect work and correct discrepancies
  • experience with aerospace manufacturing
  • willingness to work full time
  • ability to adhere to confidentiality policies
  • physical ability to handle raw materials and parts safely

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 4-5 years of experience in assembly or manufacturing
  • solid working knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes
  • ability to read and write English at a comprehensive level
  • good hand eye coordination
  • experience or knowledge to operate basic machinery pneumatic and hand tools
  • ability to read engineering blueprints
  • previous experience in aerospace manufacturing preferred
  • ability to self-inspect work and correct discrepancies
  • sensitivity to safety regulations and requirements
  • ability to perform under general supervision with little latitude for independent judgment

Job Duties

  • assembles aircraft interior structures and parts such as bins galley lavatories sidewalls cargo liners and sub-assemblies
  • adheres to company and customer specifications work instructions engineering prints and work orders
  • documents materials used in each process to maintain traceability
  • productively reacts to change and handles other essential tasks as assigned now or in the future
  • builds sub-assemblies of aircraft components including forming aluminum trim extrusions fiberglass laminates and other materials fills and fairs areas as necessary installs inserts and applies edging material assembles sub components cleans work area machines tools and equipment during and after production
