Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • More than 5 years of experience in manufacturing or assembly
  • Fluency in English
  • Ability to understand and use work orders
  • Experience in aerospace manufacturing preferred
  • Good hand-eye coordination
  • Sensitivity to safety regulations and requirements
  • Ability to self-inspect work and correct discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Experience operating basic machinery and pneumatic/hand tools
  • Ability to adapt to changing business conditions
  • Willingness to work protracted or irregular hours
  • May require travel and relocation to other Safran facilities
  • ITAR controlled position requiring U.S. citizenship or permanent residency

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 4-5 years of experience in assembly or manufacturing
  • Solid working knowledge of aerospace manufacturing principles
  • Ability to read and write English comprehensively
  • Good hand-eye coordination
  • Sensitivity to safety regulations
  • Ability to self-inspect work and correct discrepancies
  • Experience operating basic machinery and pneumatic/hand tools
  • Meets or exceeds current training requirements
  • Ability to read engineering blueprints
  • Previous aerospace manufacturing experience

Job Duties

  • Assembles aircraft interior structures and/or parts such as bins, galleys, lavatories, sidewalls, cargo liners, etc.
  • Builds sub-assemblies for the completion of aircraft interior structures and/or parts using engineering drawings, company and customer specifications
  • Adheres to company and customer specifications, work instructions, engineering prints and work orders
  • Documents materials used in each process to maintain traceability
  • Reacts productively to change and handles other essential tasks as assigned, may work at different workstations as production needs require
  • Builds sub-assemblies of aircraft components including forming aluminum trim extrusions and fiberglass laminates
  • Installs inserts, applies edging material, and assembles subcomponents for structures/units
  • Cleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment during and after production
  • Carefully and safely handles raw material and manufactured parts to ensure quality
  • Protects and maintains confidentiality of company products
