The Manufacturing Operator role at Graco is critical to this success, responsible for performing specialized manufacturing processes to produce high-quality spray guns and fluid handling equipment. This full-time position operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, offering a competitive base pay range of $20.40 to $25.60 per hour, commensurate with experience and location. The role requires a hands-on approach in setting up, assembling, testing, repairing, and packaging various sub-assemblies and finished products. Operators are expected to maintain consistent work quality and production output while adhering strictly to established safety and quality management protocols.

Beyond the core manufacturing tasks, this position includes operating test equipment to ensure products meet precise specifications, inventory maintenance, and potentially overseeing or training co-workers in operational tasks. The Manufacturing Operator is also responsible for maintaining excellent housekeeping and organization within their work area, performing minor equipment maintenance as needed, and contributing to other functions such as shipping, receiving, and material handling. Job Requirements

  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Previous manufacturing and/or assembly experience
  • Computer operation skills at an intermediate level
  • Must have a good understanding of blue prints, and ability to read and follow operation layout instructions
  • Ability to set up and perform operations where quality, tolerances, and operation sequence are of critical importance
  • Successful completion of established applicant tests
  • Ability to stand/walk/sit for up to eight hours
  • Required to occasionally stoop, bend, lift and load up to 40 pounds
  • Frequent, repetitive elbow movements
  • Reaching, grasping, gripping and fine manipulation with hands is required
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • This role is not eligible for immigration sponsorship now or in the future (e.g., H-1B, TN, F-1 OPT)

Job Qualifications

  • High school degree or equivalent

Job Duties

  • Set up, assemble, repair, test and package sub-assemblies and finished products
  • Maintain required work quality and output
  • Perform work in accordance with established QMS/ISO requirements
  • Operate test equipment to ensure product meets all required test specifications
  • Maintain and report inventory accuracy
  • Understand and follow established Graco safety requirements
  • May be required to train or direct work of co-workers
  • Maintain housekeeping and organization of the department and work area
  • May be required to perform minor maintenance of equipment
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including shipping/receiving functions, material handler
