The role of Catering Executive Chef at Eurest presents an exciting opportunity for a culinary professional passionate about Asian cuisine and luxury hospitality. This position involves leading high-end culinary operations within a corporate Executive Briefing Center environment, focusing on delivering fine-dining experiences for VIP clients. The Catering Executive Chef will oversee kitchen operations, ensuring a safe and sanitary workspace while preparing or directing the preparation of meals in accordance with company standards and client expectations. This role offers a Monday-to-Friday schedule, supporting a strong work-life balance in a professional, corporate setting.

Key responsibilities include planning and executing VIP catering menus with an emphasis on Asian and Asian-inspired dishes, maintaining quality and consistency through standardized recipes, and training kitchen staff in food preparation, safety, and sanitation standards. The chef will also manage inventory, oversee cleaning and maintenance schedules, and comply with all health and safety regulations. The position requires an entrepreneurial spirit and hands-on leadership, with the ability to actively cook while managing the team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and culinary software, along with certifications such as ServSafe, is highly desirable. Knowledge of an Asian language may be a plus in supporting communication with a diverse client base.

Eurest offers a competitive salary range of $95,000 to $105,000 per year, with a pay grade of 14. Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent culinary experience
  • 5+ years progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
  • extensive high-end catering and VIP experience
  • strong expertise in Asian cuisine
  • experience with high volume foodservice operations
  • ability to lead and cook hands-on
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • willing to participate in client satisfaction programs
  • ServSafe certification highly desirable
  • ability to communicate in an Asian language preferred

Job Duties

  • Plan and execute VIP catering menus focused on Asian cuisine and Asian-inspired dishes
  • follow standardized recipes, portioning, and presentation standards
  • complete daily production worksheets and waste logs
  • train kitchen staff in food preparation, safe handling, equipment operation, food safety, and sanitation
  • establish and maintain cleaning and maintenance schedules for equipment, storage, and work areas
  • maintain inventory of food and non-food supplies within established guidelines
  • comply with federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations
  • participate in departmental meetings, staff development, and professional programs
