Job Description
PCI Pharma Services is a global pharmaceutical services company dedicated to bridging the gap between biopharmaceutical companies and patients worldwide. With a firm commitment to investing in people who drive progress and create a better tomorrow, PCI Pharma Services operates as a leading contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) that provides comprehensive solutions ranging from drug development through commercial manufacturing. The company's global network fosters innovation and teamwork to pioneer and shape the future of pharmaceutical services, with a focus on delivering life-changing therapies that have a profound global impact. PCI's culture emphasizes equity, inclusion, and respect, ensuring that all employees can thrive and contribute to the company’s mission.
The role of an Aseptic Cleaning Technician at PCI Pharma Services is integral to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards within the manufacturing cleanroom environment. This position involves formulating and applying cleaning solutions to core manufacturing equipment and processes to ensure compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP). Working in an environment that includes computer equipment, production machinery, and tools, the technician must perform duties that require detail-oriented attention while adhering to aseptic techniques and gowning procedures. The technician is also responsible for maintaining facility and equipment cleanliness, monitoring production processes, documenting activities accurately, and participating in group trainings and audits.
This full-time position typically operates on a night shift schedule from Monday through Thursday, 10:00 PM to 2:00 AM, with eligibility for a 10 percent pay differential, and an additional shift on Sunday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The hiring salary ranges from $19.54 to $21.98 per hour with an opportunity to earn an annual performance bonus. PCI offers a competitive benefits package that includes paid time off, health insurance (including dental and vision), flexible spending accounts, and a 401(k) retirement plan. This role demands reliability, professionalism, and a commitment to the company’s cultural values, including teamwork, integrity, and continuous improvement.
An ideal candidate should be capable of performing sanitization duties while wearing aseptic gowning, formulating sterile and non-sterile disinfectant solutions, and accurately completing required documentation in compliance with cGMP guidelines. The technician must also be vigilant in maintaining cleanliness in designated cleanroom areas, operate general production equipment such as autoclaves, and properly dispose of used disinfectant waste. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential. Physical requirements include occasional sitting and standing, the ability to lift up to 40 pounds, and frequent communication with others.
PCI Pharma Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to fostering diversity and inclusion in all aspects of employment. The company supports individuals from various backgrounds and provides accommodations for those with disabilities. Employees become part of a dynamic community dedicated to advancing pharmaceutical therapies that positively affect millions of lives globally. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute directly to the manufacturing processes that ensure the safety and quality of critical drug products, helping to save lives and improve global health outcomes.
