Job Requirements

  • Education level as required by food safety certification standards
  • prior experience in baking or culinary environments
  • certification in food safety
  • physical ability to perform tasks involving lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and prolonged standing/walking
  • adherence to personal protective equipment (PPE) and uniform policies
  • strong communication skills
  • commitment to following safety and hygiene protocols

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience in baking or a related field
  • sound understanding of baking practices, norms, and regulations for ensuring food safety
  • compulsory certification for earning food safety certification(s)
  • proficient understanding of basic math concepts and counting procedures
  • skilled in interpersonal communication, adept in expressing ideas clearly through both written and verbal means
  • capable of handling physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and prolonged walking/standing
  • ability to adhere to uniform guidelines and use personal protective equipment (PPE)

Job Duties

  • Bake a variety of treats by accurately following established recipes and production guidelines
  • prepare workstation with all necessary ingredients and baking equipment before starting
  • organize and prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, and chopping as required
  • safely operate commercial baking equipment, including mixers, stoves, and ovens
  • use knives and other kitchen tools securely and responsibly during food preparation
  • store all food products correctly and in accordance with safety guidelines
  • maintain strict hygiene standards by consistently cleaning and disinfecting all workspaces, tools, and utensils
  • provide outstanding service and maintain a positive attitude when interacting with guests, clients, and coworkers
  • strictly follow Aramark safety policies, ensuring all food safety and sanitation procedures are met
  • safeguard company assets by complying with established security protocols
