Job Requirements

- prior experience in baking or food preparation
- ability to operate ovens and baking machinery
- capacity to stand for long periods
- ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- strong adherence to health department regulations and company food safety measures
- willingness to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties
- Prepare and bake a wide variety of baked goods including bread cakes cookies pastries pies and other specialty items
- operate ovens and other baking equipment ensuring temperatures are correct and baked goods are cooked to perfection
- monitor ingredient inventory levels order supplies and ensure proper storage of ingredients
- clean and sanitize baking equipment workstations and utensils to maintain a safe and hygienic environment
- regularly inspect baked goods for quality ensuring they meet the bakery’s standards in appearance texture and taste
