Job Requirements
- capacity to stay on one’s feet for prolonged periods
- skill in manipulating shaping and carrying hefty bags of flour sugar and similar baking supplies weighing up to 50 pounds
- skill in operating hot ovens and baking machinery

Job Duties
- prepare and bake a wide variety of baked goods including bread cakes cookies pastries pies and other specialty items
- operate ovens and other baking equipment ensuring temperatures are correct and baked goods are cooked to perfection
- monitor ingredient inventory levels order supplies and ensure proper storage of ingredients
- clean and sanitize baking equipment workstations and utensils to maintain a safe and hygienic environment
- regularly inspect baked goods for quality ensuring they meet the bakery’s standards in appearance texture and taste
