Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior baking experience is strongly preferred
- food safety certification required
- strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- excellent communication skills
- physical ability to perform demanding tasks including lifting and prolonged standing
- willingness to adhere to PPE and uniform policies
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience in baking or a related field
- sound understanding of baking practices and food safety regulations
- compulsory food safety certification
- proficient in basic math concepts and counting procedures
- skilled in verbal and written communication
- physically capable of handling lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and prolonged walking or standing
- ability to follow uniform and personal protective equipment guidelines
Job Duties
- Follow prescribed recipes and production standards to bake an assortment of treats
- prepare workspace with necessary baking tools and ingredients
- measure, weigh, mix, chop, and organize ingredients
- handle baking instruments such as ovens, stoves, and mixers
- safely employ kitchen tools such as knives during food preparation
- adhere to guidelines for safe storage of food products
- ensure all workspaces, tools, and utensils are cleaned and disinfected to uphold hygiene standards
- offer outstanding customer service and maintain a positive attitude with guests and colleagues
- uphold Aramark safety policies and food safety procedures
- comply with security guidelines to protect organizational assets
