Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in baking or culinary preparation preferred
- Food safety certification(s) required
- Ability to follow detailed recipes and production standards
- Strong attention to hygiene and safety protocols
- Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks involving lifting and standing
- Willingness to wear uniforms and personal protective equipment
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience in baking or a related field
- Sound understanding of baking practices, norms, and regulations for ensuring food safety
- Certification for earning food safety certification(s)
- Proficient understanding of basic math concepts and counting procedures
- Skilled in interpersonal communication, adept in expressing ideas clearly through both written and verbal means
- Capable of handling physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and prolonged walking or standing
Job Duties
- Follow prescribed recipes and production standards to bake an assortment of treats
- Get your workspace prepared with all the necessary baking tools and ingredients
- Measure, weigh, mix, chop, and complete other necessary tasks to organize the ingredients
- Handle baking instruments such as ovens, stoves, and mixers
- Safely employ kitchen tools, such as knives, when engaging in food prep activities
- Adhere to guidelines for the safe storage of food products
- Ensure that all workspaces, tools, and utensils are cleaned and disinfected to uphold hygiene standards
- Offer outstanding customer service and exhibit a positive attitude when engaging with guests, clients, customers, colleagues, and others
- Uphold Aramark safety policies, ensuring adherence to proper food safety and sanitation procedures
- Uphold the safety of organizational assets by complying with established security guidelines
