Embedded in their culture are strong core values that emphasize creating a warm, home-like environment not only for residents but for employees as well. With a focus on employee growth and development, the company promotes from within and fosters a supportive atmosphere where team members feel appreciated and inspired to make a positive impact in the lives of the seniors they serve.
The company is currently seeking a full-time Culinary Director for its Cleveland market location, offering a competitive salary range between $59,800 and $86,840 annually, with the opportunity to earn up to $4,000 in performance-based bonuses. This position works a Monday through Friday schedule from 8 am to 5 pm with one Sunday per month required for brunch service. The Culinary Director will play a vital role in overseeing the culinary department, ensuring the highest standard of food quality and service that aligns with the company’s five-star service philosophy. This leadership position combines strong culinary expertise with team management skills to create delightful dining experiences for residents while maintaining operational efficiency.
In this role, the Culinary Director will be responsible for creating seasonal and resident-preferred menus featuring fresh food options, managing food preparation and portion control to minimize waste, and upholding strict culinary standards throughout the kitchen. As the key leader in the culinary department, this individual will be expected to train, supervise, and motivate staff to consistently deliver exceptional front and back-of-house service. Comfort with technology such as Microsoft Word and Excel is important for tasks related to menu planning, inventory management, and communication. Since the role requires physical activity that includes standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in various temperature conditions, candidates must possess good physical health verified through recent health screenings.
Arrow Senior Living's commitment to its workforce is evidenced by a comprehensive benefits package tailored to support employee well-being and career advancement. Full-time employees enjoy health benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance starting the first of the month following 60 days of employment, as well as disability and life insurance coverage. The company offers a 401(k) plan with a 100% match up to 3% of employee contributions, tuition reimbursement opportunities, an employee assistance program, paid time off accrual, a weekly employee recognition program, and other incentives such as complementary meals during shifts, daily pay options, direct deposit, and an employee referral program for all employment types. This robust benefits framework ensures that Arrow Senior Living not only attracts but retains dedicated professionals who are passionate about enriching the lives of seniors through quality culinary service.
Joining the team at Arrow Senior Living means becoming part of a community that values respect, integrity, and continuous improvement. Team members often speak fondly about the friendships formed and the rewarding nature of their work, highlighting a genuine enthusiasm for their roles.
