Job Requirements

  • Culinary degree or equivalent hotel experience
  • Minimum 2 years of line cook experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Physical stamina to stand and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Commitment to guest satisfaction

Job Qualifications

  • Refined verbal communication skills
  • Culinary degree or related hotel cooking experience preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of line cook experience preferred
  • Ability to perform all basic cooking skills
  • Capable of working single stations in the kitchen
  • Strong desire to satisfy guest needs in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Open availability including day, evening, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook food items according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines
  • Monitor food production to ensure quality and consistency
  • Manage single kitchen stations efficiently during service
  • Assist in training and supervising junior kitchen staff
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management
  • Provide direction in the absence of the hourly Sous Chef
