The Armed Security position at Securitas is a full-time role based in Helena, MT, with a pay rate of $21.00 per hour. Scheduled for 30 hours per week, this role primarily covers shifts on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM. The position is ideal for individuals with backgrounds in the military or law enforcement but is also open to candidates without experience, who are willing to undergo comprehensive training. The Armed Security Officer plays a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment by actively monitoring client premises. This includes patrolling various locations, conducting TSA-style screenings, and enforcing regulations pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the local area.

In addition to protection duties, Armed Security Officers serve as a visible deterrent to potential threats, offering customer service and information to both employees and clients at the site. The role demands a high level of professionalism, vigilance, and excellent judgment, especially in stressful or emergency situations.
