Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 10 years law enforcement experience with separation in good standing or retired law enforcement
- Valid driver license
- LEOSA certification
- Successful completion of HonorHealth Armed Security Officer Training Program within 90 days of hire
- Basic Life Support certification through American Heart Association within 60 days
- Taser certification within 90 days of hire by HonorHealth Public Safety and Certified Taser Instructor within 90 days
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Preferred associate's degree or equivalent from recognized college or trade school
- 10 years of law enforcement experience in good standing or retired law enforcement
- Valid driver license

- Completion of HonorHealth Armed Security Officer Training Program within 90 days of hire
- Basic Life Support certification through American Heart Association within 60 days
- Taser certification and training by HonorHealth Public Safety within 90 days
Job Duties
- Patrol assigned hospital properties to ensure safety and security
- Screen visitors and monitor ingress through weapons detection systems
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents
- Enforce hospital policies such as parking, smoking, and badge compliance
- Provide training to staff on security protocols and procedures
- Document incidents, maintain activity logs, and report hazards or suspicious activities
- Collaborate with law enforcement and assist in crowd control and security for large events
