The current opening is for a full-time Armed FT Air Courier Messenger, a vital role responsible for the secure transfer of customer cargo and liability from airplanes to customer locations and Brink's facilities. The position pays an hourly rate of $21.14. This role operates within an armed environment, requiring strict adherence to security protocols to protect Brink's premises, customer property, and personnel. The Air Courier Messenger must ensure the safety of armored vehicles in transit and protect persons on the property.

Key responsibilities include escorting and securing customer liability during transport; maintaining vigilance on the tarmac to oversee shipment transfers; ensuring all paperwork and documentation are thorough and accurate; collaborating with branch leadership to coordinate deliveries; and enforcing security regulations. The role demands exemplary customer service skills when interacting with customers during deliveries and assisting them with shipping needs. Additionally, the Air Courier Messenger will assist with facility operations related to secure valuables, enforce Department of Transportation and traffic regulations, report security incidents, and cross-train for other related duties.

This opportunity requires candidates with a minimum of six months of relevant experience in secured logistics or environments handling valuable liabilities, a valid driver's license, weapons permit or ability to obtain one, and adherence to DOT standards. Physical fitness is important as the role involves consistently lifting 50 pounds or more. Candidates must also be willing to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
