The opportunity available is for a full-time Armed Air Courier Messenger, an essential role within Brink's Global Services. This position involves escorting customer cargo and liabilities from plane side to customer locations and between Brink's facilities and customers. Precision and security are critical as this role requires providing armed protection for the valuable goods in transit. The Air Courier Messenger operates within a heavily armed environment, rigorously enforcing rules that safeguard premises, Brink's property, customer assets, armored vehicles, and personnel. The role demands vigilance and professionalism to ensure the safety of both the transported valuables and individuals involved. Alongside security responsibilities, the courier is also expected to deliver exceptional customer service during liability deliveries and assist customers effectively with their shipping needs.

Duties of the position include receiving and reviewing daily delivery routes, coordinating closely with branch leadership on logistics and documentation, monitoring shipments on the tarmac, securing and delivering customer liability, assisting with facility sort operations related to valuables and shipment preparation, ensuring all Department of Transportation (DOT) and traffic regulations are followed, and promptly reporting any security or safety violations. The Air Courier Messenger must also comply with General Security Regulations and other operational directives. Additional cross-training and performance of duties as assigned are required, underscoring the dynamic and multifaceted nature of this role.

Candidates must have a minimum of six months' experience as a courier or guard in a secure logistics environment, be aged 21 or older, possess a current and valid driver's license, meet all DOT requirements, and hold a valid weapons permit or have the ability to obtain one. A guard card or eligibility to obtain one is also mandatory. The physical demands include the ability to lift at least 50 pounds consistently and work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
