Job Description

The Ned NoMad is an exclusive members' club and hotel that is set to open in the heart of New York City in the summer of 2022. It represents the first international extension of The Ned brand following the launch of The Ned London in 2017. The property is located in the historic Johnston Building, a structure originally built in 1903 as a store and office space. This landmark building was previously home to the NoMad Hotel in Manhattan and carefully preserves its architectural heritage while introducing interiors designed by the renowned Soho House Design team.

The Ned NoMad is designed to provide a blend of luxurious members-only amenities along with public spaces, including 167 bedrooms and suites. Members will enjoy exclusive access to a rooftop bar with a terrace restaurant, a vibrant first-floor bar, grill, and lounge featuring live entertainment daily from The Atrium Stage. Adding a unique culinary dimension to the property is Cecconi’s, a celebrated modern classic Italian restaurant, making The Ned NoMad a standout destination in New York’s competitive hospitality scene.

We are currently seeking a motivated and dedicated Food Runner to join our fast-paced team and report directly to the General Manager. The Food Runner role is essential in bridging front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) operations to ensure seamless service and a premium dining experience. This role thrives on teamwork and communication, calling for a detail-oriented and customer-focused candidate who values collaboration with peers and various departments.

This role demands a commitment to delivering an exceptional dining experience through prompt service, attention to detail on food presentation, and proactive support across the floor team. The Ned NoMad is proud to offer an inclusive and supportive work culture where every team member can contribute meaningfully to the overall guest experience, making this an exciting opportunity for those passionate about hospitality and service excellence.
