Job Description
The Villaire (JACS) Organization owns and operates 14 McDonald's restaurants throughout Northern and Southeastern Michigan. As a reputable and expanding franchisee, the organization prides itself on delivering high-quality service, delicious food, and an exceptional employee and customer experience. With a commitment to investing in its team and fostering a culture of growth, Villaire offers numerous career opportunities within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Being a franchisee-operated business, Villaire is an independent company separate from McDonald's USA but operates under the beloved brand's standards and values. This separation ensures focused management with personalized attention to team development and operational excellence.
Currently, the Villaire Organization is seeking a Full-Time Area Supervisor (District Manager) with a starting salary range of $65,000 to $85,000 per year. This pivotal leadership role involves overseeing 3-5 McDonald's restaurants and requires a hands-on approach to managing multiple restaurant teams led by General Managers. The Area Supervisor will support setting and achieving restaurant goals, actively coach management staff, and provide guidance to improve overall restaurant performance. The role is ideal for an experienced professional dedicated to cultivating team success, ensuring operational standards, and driving continuous improvement across multiple locations.
This position demands a strong business acumen and the ability to identify and resolve key operational challenges. The Area Supervisor is expected to influence decisions, align resources, and hold managers accountable while consistently pursuing outstanding reliability, product quality, and financial performance. Supporting General Managers and other department leaders daily, the Area Supervisor plays a crucial role in maintaining and elevating store-specific guest satisfaction targets and operational goals such as sales growth, customer satisfaction, labor management, profit margins, and compliance with company policies.
In addition to overseeing business operations, this role emphasizes people development. The Area Supervisor is also responsible for recruiting, training, and retaining management teams, including General Managers, Department Managers, and Shift Managers, fostering a motivated workforce ready to deliver exceptional brand experiences. Regular visits across shifts, including nights and weekends, audits for cash, security, and food safety, as well as adherence to national brand promotions, are critical components of the job.
The Area Supervisor must possess excellent communication skills, relationship management capabilities, and the ability to thrive under multitasking and time management demands. This role also offers numerous benefits such as car and cell phone allowances, company laptop, free and discounted meals, paid vacation and sick time, health insurance, 401K with employer match, life insurance, bonuses, tuition assistance, and fun work environment perks.
If you have a passion for leadership, a proven track record in restaurant management, and the ambition to drive success within a reputable franchise, the Villaire Organization encourages you to apply and grow your career with them.
