Recognized for its dedication to professional development, Aramark provides opportunities to grow talents, fuel passions, and empower career advancement for all team members. Working at Aramark means joining a dedicated group of professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional service and quality experiences.
This position is for an Area SMKH Food and Beverage (F&B) Team Lead at LEGOLAND Resort under the Aramark banner. The role primarily revolves around leading and mentoring the Food and Beverage team, setting the standard for hospitality and ensuring that every guest enjoys a memorable and positive dining experience. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for guiding your team with an organized, focused, and accountable leadership style that promotes a positive work atmosphere. Your leadership will directly impact guest satisfaction, especially focusing on creating delightful experiences for children and families visiting the resort.
The role offers an hourly wage ranging from $17.75 to $18.02, reflecting Aramark's competitive pay scale for this position. This is an hourly, frontline leadership role with comprehensive responsibilities ranging from customer interaction, team oversight, food preparation, quality control, sanitation, safety compliance, and operational efficiency. It requires multitasking in fast-paced, often challenging environments that involve working indoors and outdoors, sometimes under varying temperatures. In addition to day-to-day operational tasks, the Team Lead plays a critical role in reinforcing Aramark's high standards for food safety, sanitation, and employee performance.
Responsibilities include not only ensuring that food quality and safety exceed standards but also fostering strong customer relationships by addressing guest complaints with positivity and professionalism. The Team Lead also coordinates work schedules and breaks to remain compliant with labor laws and optimize operational flow. Training and mentoring the team, overseeing food preparation from cooking to serving, maintaining cleanliness and organization of workspaces, and ensuring adherence to uniform and safety policies are vital facets of this position.
Physical aspects of the job demand a high level of physical activity, including lifting heavy items, standing for long periods, and navigating a dynamic kitchen and dining environment safely. The position calls for employees who are adaptable, energetic, and capable of maintaining a cheerful and professional demeanor under pressure.
