The Area Sales Manager role at OUTRIGGER Resorts & Hotels is a dynamic, full-time onsite position based at The OUTRIGGER Waikiki Beach Resort. This pivotal role involves leading and executing group sales strategies across the Waikiki collection of OUTRIGGER properties. The successful candidate will focus primarily on identifying new business opportunities, cultivating and maintaining strong client relationships, and driving group revenue through proactive and strategic sales efforts. Collaboration is key in this role, requiring close partnership with the corporate sales team, revenue strategy professionals, property-level sales staff, operations leaders, and marketing departments to ensure the seamless execution of group bookings. The Area Sales Manager must also ensure that all operations align with the high standards of the OUTRIGGER brand, enhancing both customer satisfaction and business performance.

This position offers a competitive starting salary range of $75,000 to $80,000 annually, with potential for higher earnings based on the candidate's skills, experience, and educational background. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or comparable technical training
  • Minimum 3 years previous sales experience within the travel industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including advanced skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of Delphi sales software highly preferred
  • Ability to work full-time onsite at The OUTRIGGER Waikiki Beach Resort

Job Qualifications
