The organization prides itself on being "People Pleasing People," emphasizing the importance of creating extraordinary experiences for both guests and associates. The company fosters a culture of growth and learning, making it an attractive place for hospitality professionals seeking to advance their careers while working in some of Milwaukee's most iconic hotels and dining venues.
The Area Private Dining Event Manager at Marcus Hotels & Resorts plays a crucial role in orchestrating memorable dining experiences by acting as the primary liaison between clients and the restaurant operations teams. This position focuses on coordinating private dining events from contract turnover through execution, ensuring that each event is planned in detail, communicated clearly, and managed efficiently to exceed client expectations. The role demands someone who enjoys making meaningful connections, anticipating client needs, and maintaining composure under pressure. The position is salaried and exempt, with an estimated pay range of $55,000 to $60,000 annually, plus bonus opportunities.
This role offers access to a collaborative work environment alongside dedicated, talented teams focused on delivering exceptional event experiences. The Area Private Dining Event Manager is responsible for managing event details such as timelines, menus, and special requests, preparing and distributing Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), partnering closely with restaurant leadership to guarantee seamless execution, and ensuring accurate billing and documentation. Participation in BEO and revenue meetings and active collaboration with the sales team further enhance the role's strategic scope.
Joining Marcus Hotels & Resorts means benefiting from attractive employee perks, including a free and balanced meal during each shift, discounts on lodging across Marcus and Hilton-branded properties, reduced rates at various on-site amenities such as restaurants, lounges, golfing, skiing, and spa facilities, as well as complimentary parking and entertainment discounts. With a commitment to employee wellness, Marcus Hotels & Resorts offers paid time off along with medical, dental, and vision insurance after 30 days of employment, company-paid life insurance, an employee assistance program, and a 401k retirement plan with an employer match. This comprehensive benefits package supports the well-being and career growth of its employees.
In summary, the Area Private Dining Event Manager position at Marcus Hotels & Resorts is ideal for an organized, client-focused hospitality professional eager to contribute to and grow within a celebrated and historically successful hotel group. This is an excellent opportunity to develop project management and client relations skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while enjoying competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.
