The Area Operations Manager at Aramark plays a critical role in overseeing and enhancing the performance of dining and related service operations within a designated area. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Prior leadership experience in food service or hospitality
  • Knowledge of safety and sanitation regulations
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and financial performance
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with team development and coaching
  • Familiarity with client relationship management

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience with K-12 student nutrition preferred
  • Proven leadership in managing teams and achieving organizational goals
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Experience in food service, contract services, or hospitality
  • Proficiency in financial protocols and budget control
  • Ability to develop sales strategies
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred

Job Duties

  • Supervise, coach, and empower teams to enhance productivity
  • Align food service operations with Aramark's Executional Framework standards
  • Respond to client demands and ensure communication on operational developments
  • Manage budgets and increase revenue through cost control
  • Maintain safety and sanitation regulations throughout operations
  • Create and manage systems for ordering, receiving, storing, preparing, and delivering food
  • Perform routine inventory audits and maintain documentation
  • Lead and guide team coordination in production, marketing, quality assurance, cost monitoring, supervision, and training
  • Communicate with client management and support sales proceedings
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and wage policies
