Job Description
Centennial Hospitality Group (CHG) is a renowned hospitality company dedicated to delivering exceptional restaurant experiences through a commitment to quality, service, and culture. At the heart of this group is Wing Shack, a lively and fast-growing wing joint known for its flavorful food, welcoming atmosphere, and devoted team. Wing Shack is not just another restaurant; it is a community hotspot where the vibe is just right, the wings are perfectly cooked every time, and every staff member truly cares about the guest experience. With a vision to become everyone's favorite local wing joint, Wing Shack embraces a culture built on positive energy, pride, and continuous development, making it an exciting and rewarding place to work.
The role of Operations Manager at Wing Shack is crucial to maintaining and elevating the high standards set by Centennial Hospitality Group across all facets of restaurant operations. As an Operations Manager, you will work closely with General Managers and Restaurant Development Specialists to lead operational excellence and foster strong relational connections within the team and community. This position emphasizes leadership with energy, accountability, and a genuine passion encapsulated in the Wing Shack’s mantra: GAS (Give a S**t). The Operations Manager is expected to not only uphold but also continuously improve upon the CHG guiding principles, which include quality food and service, value delivery, maintaining pride in the workplace, and fostering a culture of positive energy and personal and team development.
In this role, the Operations Manager acts as the heartbeat of daily operations, ensuring seamless execution from opening to closing. You will lead day-to-day restaurant functions with expertise, build, coach, and retain a high-performing team, and set the service tone—fast, friendly, and attentive to every detail. Your responsibilities extend to ensuring the consistency and quality of food, rigorous cleanliness standards, and efficient management of labor, inventory, and profitability metrics. Additionally, Operations Managers are hands-on leaders who step in wherever needed, exhibiting a roll-up-your-sleeves approach that drives success.
Wing Shack seeks candidates who don’t just possess experience but exhibit a distinctive attitude and ownership over their role. Natural leadership that earns respect through actions rather than authority, the ability to thrive in fast-paced, no-excuses environments, and a relentless focus on delivering outstanding guest experiences are critical traits. Organizational skills, accountability, and a solution-oriented mindset are essential to support the dynamic needs of the restaurant and the larger hospitality group. While prior restaurant management experience is valued, an unwavering commitment to the company’s culture and mission matters most.
This full-time role typically requires 40-50 hours per week, with the flexibility to respond to urgent situations as they arise. Active involvement in high-volume shifts and participation in food truck shifts, community events, and catering opportunities are also part of the job. Candidates should be prepared for a physically demanding role that includes prolonged periods of standing and the ability to lift over 50 pounds. A valid driver’s license and vehicle are necessary, as travel between locations and community engagements may be required.
Joining Wing Shack means becoming part of a growing brand with genuine opportunities for career advancement, where employees enjoy their work and contribute to building something special in their communities. Competitive pay coupled with performance incentives provide further motivation and reward for dedication and hard work. Centennial Hospitality Group also commits to diversity and inclusion, actively seeking individuals from all backgrounds to create a workplace that respects and values everyone’s contributions. If you take pride in leading from the front, delivering exceptional service, and truly care about your work and team, Wing Shack welcomes your application to help shape the future of everyone's favorite local wing joint.
