Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
  • Four plus years experience in restaurant industry with multi-unit leadership experience
  • Multi-unit retail or restaurant operations experience
  • Strong decision-making capabilities
  • Ability to work varied schedule including days, evenings, and weekends
  • Required to live within assigned area and travel when needed
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Valid driver’s license

Job Qualifications

  • Four plus years experience in the restaurant industry with multi-unit leadership experience
  • Multi-unit retail or restaurant operations experience
  • Strong decision-making capabilities with ability to deliver within tight deadlines
  • Self-driven, flexible, and highly energetic with strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively independently and collaboratively
  • Action and results oriented with a strong commitment to quality and data-driven results
  • Ability to see the big picture while focusing on unit level performance
  • Ability to work varied schedule including days, evenings, and weekends
  • Required to live within assigned area and travel when needed
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Job Duties

  • Deliver high-performing and best-in-class operations by leading and inspiring all restaurant crewmembers
  • Identify areas of opportunity and hold accountability
  • Celebrate successes in the restaurants
  • Align company restaurant activities and operations to Raising Cane’s vision, mission, core values, and non-negotiables
  • Direct and operate restaurants while leveraging, directing, and collaborating with marketing, training, recruiting and growth functional leaders
  • Build and execute operational plans from the ground up
  • Deliver operations performance aligned to sales driven and profit smart philosophy
  • Train restaurant leaders to manage and operate Raising Cane’s crew appreciation program
  • Maintain full responsibility for financial performance impacting restaurant operations including budget planning, management, and performance
  • Identify needs and gaps to support from the Business Unit team
  • Direct area marketing support including media, sponsorships, and community involvement
  • Direct area training support and assess effectiveness of training programs
  • Direct area recruiting support and build recruitment strategies
  • Conduct regular business reviews with Area Business Unit team
  • Collaborate with functional leaders to screen and hire functional experts
  • Manage personnel functions of the Business Unit team including compensation, performance reviews, and expense management
  • Provide feedback on restaurant programs, systems, and tools effectiveness
  • Recognize and notify gaps in support, processes, or tools for resolution
  • Utilize forums to align RSO and functional crewmembers to goals and objectives of Area Business Unit team
