Job Description
Valet Living is a leading service provider specializing in waste, recycling, and compost collection services tailored for multifamily communities. With a strong commitment to sustainability and operational excellence, Valet Living has established itself as a trusted partner for property managers and residents. The company is renowned for its comprehensive approach to environmental services, emphasizing efficient processes, safety, and superior customer interactions. Valet Living operates across various locations with a workforce dedicated to maintaining clean and healthy living environments. The company culture promotes career growth, continuous learning, and a supportive work environment that encourages teamwork and innovation. As part of their commitment to employee success, Valet Living offers competitive compensation, company-provided vehicles, and a flexible work schedule that balances field operations with administrative responsibilities.
The role of Area Leader at Valet Living is a dynamic and rewarding position designed for individuals with supervisory experience who thrive in hands-on environments and data-driven decision making. As an Area Leader, you will oversee the nightly operations of waste, recycling, and compost collection services across 20 to 40 multifamily communities. Managing a team of 15 to 40 part-time Service Valets, you will be responsible for ensuring that all services are delivered safely, efficiently, and punctually. Your leadership will be integral to fostering a culture of accountability, open communication, and continuous improvement among your team. This role involves a mix of field-based responsibilities—making up 70% of your schedule—and remote administrative tasks, comprising the remaining 30%. Key duties include onboarding, training, coaching, scheduling, and performance management, as well as direct interaction with property management to ensure service quality and address any concerns. Utilizing advanced technology tools such as the iValet dashboard, you will monitor operations, analyze service data, and implement improvements to enhance service reliability. The position offers a pay range of $24 to $26.50 per hour, a company vehicle for work-related travel, and a work schedule typically from Sunday to Thursday, 6:00 PM to 12:30 AM, with flexible hours to complete your shift. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who are organized, detail-oriented, and possess strong problem-solving skills. The Area Leader role not only allows you to drive operational excellence but also provides you with the platform to grow your career within a company that values leadership as a service and promotes employee development through benefits like tuition reimbursement and professional growth programs.
