The role of Area Leader at Valet Living is a dynamic, field-based supervisory position designed for individuals eager to lead and manage operations within multiple multifamily communities. This position involves overseeing a team of 15 to 40 part-time Service Valets across 20 to 40 properties, ensuring that waste, recycling, and compost collection services are executed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. With an hourly pay range between $21.50 and $23, the Area Leader will enjoy the benefit of a company-provided vehicle and a work schedule primarily running from Sunday to Thursday during evening hours, with a mix of field and remote administrative work.

As an Area Leader, you will play a crucial role in supervising and coaching your team, facilitating onboarding and training, managing schedules and budgets, and fostering a culture of accountability and high service standards. Your leadership responsibilities extend to maintaining operational reliability by stepping in as needed and utilizing technology platforms like the iValet dashboard to monitor performance. The role also includes resolving resident and property concerns promptly, conducting service quality audits, and managing inventory related to tools, equipment, and safety gear.

Additionally, the position requires participation in hiring, distribution of supplies, collaboration with management on staffing and cost control, and oversight of company vehicle maintenance.
