Sodexo is seeking an experienced Area Executive Chef to oversee culinary leadership and operational excellence across multiple accounts in the South and North Dakota Campus District. This role, based in Sioux Falls with a significant travel requirement of approximately 70 percent, is critical for maintaining high culinary standards and supporting the area and district teams in menu development, sales presentations, and day-to-day management. The Area Executive Chef plays a vital role in ensuring recipe compliance and food quality, managing food costs and inventory, and fostering a passion for food innovation while addressing special diets and allergens. This is a leadership position that demands both culinary expertise and strong managerial skills to train and develop frontline employees, uphold customer service standards, and drive a culture of excellence and innovation within multiple campus locations.   • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum 3 years management experience
  • minimum 3 years functional culinary experience
  • ability to travel approximately 70 percent
  • residency in Sioux Falls area

Job Duties

  • Ensure Sodexo culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality
