The role of Area Director of Sales at Hilton is pivotal in driving the hotel’s group revenue strategy and enhancing overall commercial performance. This position places you at the heart of the hotel's group sales efforts where you will align team priorities with ambitious annual revenue goals for group room bookings and banquet services. You will be responsible for shaping and executing comprehensive group sales strategies, collaborating with commercial and regional leadership teams to contribute to the hotel's annual commercial strategy. As Area Director of Sales, you will be tasked with developing and implementing business strategies that ensure positive growth across Rooms, Catering, and Event revenue streams while maintaining alignment with the broader commercial objectives of the hotel. A critical aspect of your work includes optimizing pricing strategies in collaboration with commercial leadership to maximize revenue and maintain competitive market share. Utilizing data-driven insights such as performance metrics, demand forecasts, and competitive market analysis will allow you to steer sales plans effectively, adjust deployment and sales mixes, and align activities with revenue objectives. Your role also involves cultivating and maintaining influential relationships with stakeholders including Hilton Worldwide Sales, Convention and Visitors Bureaus (CVBs), third-party travel partners, and key clients to drive demand and increase conversion rates. You will lead business reviews and planning sessions regularly, analyzing performance trends and market shifts to identify new revenue opportunities. Beyond strategic and operational duties, you will be charged with fostering a high-performing team by recruiting new talent and encouraging professional development through performance management and recognition programs. This role is ideal for a dynamic sales leader passionate about hospitality and committed to driving commercial excellence in a world-class hotel environment.
