By leveraging advanced technology and industry-leading revenue management tools, Highgate continuously optimizes asset performance and market positioning, ensuring consistent outperformance and growth.
The Area Director of Sales & Marketing position at Highgate specifically in the Dayton, OH location is a crucial leadership role designed to drive top line revenue growth and ensure the achievement of sales goals across multiple hotel properties in the assigned area. This role acts as the primary sales leader for the anchored property, holding responsibilities equivalent to a Director of Sales & Marketing for that hotel, while also providing strategic oversight to the sales teams of additional surrounding properties. The Area Director is charged with developing and executing comprehensive marketing and communications strategies tailored to enhance the hotel's market positioning and visibility. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the hospitality sales environment, including expertise in group and volume transient sales segments, and a keen ability to interpret and utilize data from Smith Travel Research reports and other key performance indicators. The role requires collaboration with revenue management and operations teams, fostering a cohesive approach to market penetration and sales goal achievement. Effective leadership skills are essential, as the Area Director will be responsible for motivating and guiding multiple sales leaders, driving a cooperative and competitive team culture. Furthermore, the role demands strong communication abilities for managing owner relations and serving as the hotel's voice of the customer within the organization.
This position represents an excellent growth opportunity for sales professionals aiming to gain multi-hotel oversight experience with a forward-thinking hospitality leader. By joining Highgate, candidates will engage in a stimulating environment where innovation, teamwork, and strategic thinking are valued, positioning themselves for higher regional leadership roles in the future.
