Job Description
P.F. Chang's is a renowned leader in the restaurant industry, celebrated for its commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences through a blend of authentic flavors and a warm, inviting atmosphere. As an upscale casual dining restaurant company, P.F. Chang's has successfully established itself as a favorite destination for guests seeking high-quality food, outstanding service, and a memorable dining environment. With a strong emphasis on excellence, integrity, and innovation, the company fosters a culture where employees are empowered to deliver the best possible experience to each guest while supporting one another’s growth and success.
This position is a vital role within P.F. Chang's, specifically for the Miami-Dade and Broward County regions, encompassing the greater Miami-Fort Lauderdale market. Known internally as the Market Partner, the Area Director acts as a strategic leader overseeing multiple restaurant locations to ensure consistency in operational standards, sales growth, and overall performance. This role is primarily field-based, requiring the selected candidate to spend approximately 75 percent of their time visiting restaurant locations, providing hands-on support, and engaging directly with restaurant partners and teams.
The Area Director's responsibilities include driving operational excellence, spearheading innovative sales initiatives, and mentoring restaurant leadership to foster a unified culture grounded in the company’s core values. This leader partners closely with Operating Partners to manage financial goals, optimize cost controls, and meet key performance indicators such as EBITDA targets. Their role extends beyond administration; they are an inspiring mentor, committed to developing management trainees and supporting career progression within the organization.
In addition to providing operational oversight, the Area Director plays a critical role in analyzing market trends, adapting strategic sales tactics, and championing marketing and upselling efforts to maximize revenue streams. They ensure strict adherence to brand standards, health and safety regulations, and workplace protocols through routine site visits. The position demands a dynamic professional with a strong financial acumen, excellent communication skills, and a passion for fostering excellent guest experiences in a polished upscale casual dining environment.
This role offers a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact on multiple restaurant locations within a vibrant market, driving both team development and business growth. As part of the P.F. Chang’s leadership family, the Market Partner embodies a commitment to celebrating life, family, and food, making it more than just a job but a meaningful career path.
